Abstract
In response to workforce capacity challenges in supporting SEND learners into employment, Luminate Education Group established the Leeds Job Coach Forum as part of the ETF Employer Spokes programme. Challenges included professional isolation among job coaches, uneven training access, and weak coordination between education providers and employers. Actions focused on developing a city-wide professional network offering specialist CPD, peer learning, collaborative problem-solving, community visits, and employer-engagement training. Evidence of impact includes membership growth from 10 to 37 job coaches, 100% participant satisfaction and confidence in applying new skills, universal commitment to rapid implementation of learning, wide knowledge sharing across organisations, strengthened employer practice, and production of the 'Unwritten Rules' workplace template to support SEND learners with workplace expectations and sustained employment.
