Abstract
Identification of the need to expand supported employment opportunities for post-16 learners with SEND, led Hampshire County Council to establish the All Our Talents programme, supported by the SEND Centres of Excellence and ETF Employer Spokes events. Challenges included rising numbers of learners with SEND needing employment pathways and limited employer awareness of supported internships. Actions included employer engagement events, targeted follow-up by the Hampshire Employment and Skills Hub, establishment of supported internship placements, and production of a promotional video case study to model good practice. Evidence of impact includes multiple supported internship placements across successive years, progression of one learner into an apprenticeship, improved employer confidence in inclusive recruitment, strengthened long-term partnerships, and continued expansion of supported employment pathways for SEND learners.
