About the Centre of Excellence
The Centre of Excellence of AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" was established on June 15, 2011. and has 15 branches. The website of the Centre of Excellence is here: https://cpm.kz/.
The main dimensions of activities of the Centre of Excellence:
- development of educational programs for advanced training of teachers of the system of preschool, secondary, technical and vocational and higher education;
- training of trainers for the implementation of professional development programs;
- training of teachers of the Republic of Kazakhstan in advanced training courses;
- post-course support and methodological support of teachers;
- research activities and monitoring studies of teachers' professional development;
- publishing activities.
Eleven course programmes have passed international certification at the Institute for Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance ACOUIN (Germany). The Centre of Excellence has an institutional accreditation.
The Centre twice entered the Top 10 best global projects to improve the effectiveness of teachers in international competitions: UNESCO-Hamdan in 2020 and GESS Education Awards in the Community Award for Citizenship category in 2023.
